Anyway, 2021 is shaping up to be much busier than 2020 so far.  Here's a shot from a corporate interview at Toyota's headquarters and a shot from a show called Cellmate Secrets I worked on recently.

Unfortunately the February 2021 "Snowpocalypse" cancelled FOUR shoots I had booked in ONE week.  It was a real drag for work and a little scary, but we made it through with plenty of firewood and candle lit poker games.

When I was told that the shoot I was booked on was in a studio with a white cyc background, and brick walls, and included musical performances, I KNEW something had to be done about the acoustics in that space.  Sure enough, when I toured the studio it suffered from some pretty serious flutter echo issues.  I immediately purchased some Producers Choice sound blankets.  These blankets are custom made to absorb sound and can also be used for negative fill and as a bounce for lighting.  They performed great!  We were able to use them in place of bounces and negative fill that the lighting team was already going to use and they improved the sound dramatically.
